Why does dunkin donuts coffee not taste the same when brewed at home?
Q : I purchase the Dunkin Donuts brand of coffee for home brewing. I measure exactly like the instructions say and use filtered water. Why does it not taste remotely like what I buy when I go into a Dunkin Donuts?A : i work for dunkin people say this a lot. its because of the temp. if ur coffee pot can let you turn up the temp, try that. also, try getting a grinder. the coffee is freshly ground before its brewed. that can make a difference too. so go with whole bean next time u buy coffee.
The taste of Dunkin Donuts coffee has changed. Did they do something to it?
Q : I have noticed the last few times that the taste of their coffee has changed. Has this have anything to do with the trans-fat change they did last summer?
A : Fat levels affect the taste of food, indeed. You probably weren't around when McDonald's used to fry their french fries in beef tallow, but boy, when the switched to vegetable oil, lots of people (including celebrity chef, Julia Child) complained.
Sorry, but more fat usually equals more satisfying taste. However, since so many U.S. citizens are lousy at portion control and aren't interested in actually following a balanced diet, they would rather have a bucket of low-fat chemical swill than a reasonable serving of actual food or drink. Dunkin Donuts is only trying to keep the customers happy.
how do I find out about how to do a dunkin donut coffee fundraiser?
Q : we need to do more fundraisers for our high school band. we do a cookie dough one in the fall and I thought that selling coffee with it would be a good idea. I remember the middle school doing one and it made a good profit.
