Q : Does the Maxwell House coffee big blue containers have the coffee scoop in it? It's an orange coffee scoop?A : No but you can usually find these fairly cheap in the aisle that carries filters and coffe pots.

A : Don't bother printing them out, they won't last. Buy some good old fashioned Contact Paper. Its still really, really cheap and comes in many colors and prints. The thing that is most important is, is you are gonna want to make sure whatever surface you choose is cleanable...that you can wipe it down with a sponge should it get sticky...and it will!!! Buy a roll, and as you use the coffee tins, you can make a whole set of matching canisters for other uses.
Why is my Maxwell House coffee so bitter every morning?
Q : I have a coffee maker(drip style) and every morning my coffee smells great, looks good but tastes bitter! I don't use very much coffee in the basket cause I don't like strong coffee. I use Ohio tap water and I just cleaned my maker bout a month ago. So do I need to get a new coffee maker or what?
A : The water may need filtering or the coffee maker may not heat the water enough.
But the most obvious problem is "I don't use very much coffee in the basket". If you don't use enough coffee grounds you'll over extract the compounds and make bitter coffee. The proper way to make coffee is 2 tbsp per 6oz of water. If it's too strong for you, add hot water to the pot/cup to dilute it. When you find the right percentage of water to add, you'll always have a good cup.
Of course fresh coffee will taste better than canned, and fresh ground is always best. Other methods, like a French press or moka pot, will give you more flavor, but it might be more than you'd like since drip is usually less potent.
