What are the best coffee granules in the UK?
Q. Douwe Egberts is nice and Aldi coffee is surprisingly good, any other good 'uns?
A. I love Carte Noire coffee. It seems we have a great coffee on out hands! It tastes full and rich, and not bitter! The taste is full bodied. Did i mention rich? It's a bit of a strong one. BUt velvety at the same time. I drink about 6 mugs a day... slight caffine junkie :P
How much caffeine in Douwe Egberts coffee?
Q. I'm soing a biology practical, and i need to know how much is in Douwie Egberts Instant pure gold medium roast coffee. The website says 60mg in 150ml cup, but how much coffee contains 60mg? It's very important i get this right.
A. The website doesn't say how much coffee to put into one cup to make 60 mg caffeine per cup.
It might be 1.5 g of coffee, which is less than one teaspoon.

Perhaps this company is trying to hide the caffeine content of its coffee. Because it has more caffeine than other brands have. And this makes their coffee more addictive to drink.

If anybody has any ideas on where to look that would be greaaattttt
A. It's not obviously produced on their website in the same form as many companies do (in my experience then it is normally a report and well linked from the homepage)
Anyway, this was the best I could find with a quick check, There is a lot of info including fiscal 2009 results published 12/Aug 2009

Good luck with it :0)

What kind of french press is best? What kind of coffee to go with it?
Q. I want to get a french press as a gift. I am looking at a 4 cup press at target.com for under $25. Is this the best kind? How does the coffee get warm? I did not see a plug in... also, I read that I may need courser coffee grinds for this thing. The person I am giving this too has shown a preference for robust coffees, like Sumatra. Can you tell me where I can get the right kind of coffee for this?
A. I would recommend the Bodum French press and during this season, I think u get pretty good discount and probably can get one for about $30.00.
For french press, you need real hot water, pour into the press, let is seep then plung it in to press the flavour out.
Hmm, your friend likes Robusta? So, she likes strong coffee? Note that Robusta gives the strength while Arabica gives the flavour and aroma, so I would think a 30% robusta and 70% arabica would be great for your friend profile.
Timothy Horton, Douwe Egberts all have such blend, go to your nearest coffee shop to check it out!
