Q : i realize the stock got hammered for a reason, but after the large drop in share price,what do you think of it now? thank you.
A : I think that it could be cut down to near nothingness. It's seeming more and more likely that there is fraud going on at GMCR (there is a fine recent article an Seeking Alpha concerning this that I think makes the case very well). Einhorn's trashing of the company and Antar's warnings about shady accounting just keep seeming more and more likely to everyone. If there is fraud going on at the company, then it is worth nothing to you. Arguments like "They still make lots of coffee, right?" just never work when the Feds start breaking down doors.
You should probably stay away from this until the dust settles. There are going to be more shareholder lawsuits, discovery motions, SEC investigations, etc than you can shake a stick at. Management is not going to be able to concentrate on making coffee for awhile. The founder and president of this company is in way over his head now. Bad scene all around....

Has David Einhorn turned to the dark side with his bizarre reports on Green Mountain Coffee Roasters GMCR?
Q : Has the analyst lost his marbles? Why is he spreading rumors and intentionally applying wrong math to my company's reports. Does anyone know him and if he's starting up a rival company or one of the short sellers that profits from pushing down growth company stock?
How does one report stock manipulation to the SEC?
A : I read the report and all the hypothesis seem well educated to me. Do you believe that taking 70 years of net profits to pay one stock is a reasonable value?
