Can anyone reccomend a single-cup coffee maker that is quiet?

Q : We have a Senseo - but it is so loud!
I'd like to bring it to the office so I can make my own coffee at work, but if I run the Senseo people will think I am using a belt sander on my desk!
Please - only ones that you have tried or heard!
A : Besides having the smallest footprint of all the Keurig brewers, the Keurig Mini B30 single serve coffee maker is also very quiet. And yes - it's compatible with all K Cup coffees, teas, and other hot beverages including hot cocoa. So are there any issues? Is this brewer priced at $79 for everyone, or should one purchase a larger Keurig brewer?

Is the coffee as good when you make 12 ounces vs. 6 or 10 when using a single cup keurig coffee maker ?

A : No, the single cup measure tastes best using the amount of water designated for that cup. Using a different amount of water either strengthens or weakens the taste.

Can you brew a single cup of coffee in a regular coffee maker?

Q : I can get a regular size coffee maker a lot cheaper than a single cup one, but it's only me so I don't need to brew a full pot. Is there a way to just brew enough for a single cup in a regular size coffee maker?
A : Well, you can but it won't taste as good as 1 cup made in a small machine. I've found that coffee makers like to make at least 1/2 of a full batch. I think the thin bed of coffee grounds lets the water through too quickly so it doesn't pick up all the flavor slow dripping would extract. You end up tasting more filter paper than coffee.
